Jasmine Popowski New Talent Award at 2025 Astrum Awards

Wealth Financial is pleased to share that Jasmine Popowski, Financial Adviser in our Smithton office, has been awarded Best New Talent at the 2025 Astrum Awards. The awards were presented in Auckland in March 2026, on the same night the firm was named co-winner of Best Practice with Silvan Ridge Wealth.

Best New Talent is judged across six areas. Professional journey: how the adviser entered the profession, including training, mentorship and early achievements. Client-centric approach: how they have built trust, delivered value and shown care in client relationships. Learning and growth: how they have used continuous learning, feedback and professional development to grow as an advier. Contribution to team and culture: how they have supported peers, contributed to the financial outcomes and success of the practice, or brought energy to the workplace. Ethics and integrity: how they have upheld professional standards and handled challenges with integrity. Vision for the future: their aspirations and how they hope to shape the industry or their community.

Jasmine joined Wealth Financial in 2019 at 19. She worked through the business before becoming an adviser, completed her Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, and was authorised in 2024. Wealth Financial’s senior advisers mentored her through that process. Jasmine is now going forward with her own style of advice, focusing on building a long-term relationship with every client.

Jasmine has said that financial advice changed her own life, and that she wants clients to be able to dream big and then have a plan they can actually follow. Clients describe her as professional, thorough, and easy to deal with. She lives in the community she advises, and believes it helps with the relationships she builds.

Since becoming an adviser Jasmine has kept learning, through mentoring in the firm, feedback from colleagues, and the Women’s Network across the wider industry. She has used all this to continually broaden her advice knowledge.

Inside Wealth Financial she has also been useful in the unglamorous ways that matter: supporting other team members, contributing to client work and practice results, and holding a high standard as the business has grown. Good advice sometimes means slowing a decision down to ensure the right outcome. Jasmine has always shown judiciousness from a young age.

Jasmine is still early in her advising career. This award recognises the work already done and the adviser she is becoming. We are proud of her, and of the team around her.

Congratulations, Jasmine.
